Title: A tale of viscous accretion torus in the Schwarzschild spacetime
Abstract: The stationary solutions of a relativistic geometrically thick accretion torus are constructed under the influence of shear stress in the Schwarzschild geometry. The construction purely relies on the causal approach in which the curvature of the background geometry, in addition, naturally arises as a consequence of employing the causal theory of relativistic viscous hydrodynamics. By taking a simplistic path, possible impacts of both the shear viscosity and the curvature on the morphology of the torus are investigated. Over and above, we explore the consequences of magnetic fields in this scenario.
