Title: Quasinormal modes of compact objects with scalar hair

Abstract: In this talk I will present the results on the spectrum of quasinormal modes (QNMs) of spontaneously scalarized black holes in Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet theory (sEGB). I will start with a basic introduction to non-radial perturbations and quasinormal modes of the Schwarzschild black hole. Then we will apply the formalism to an example of static and spherically symmetric black hole with scalar hair, i.e. black holes in sEGB. We will discuss their properties, such as domain of existence, spectrum of QNMs, instabilities and loss of hyperbolicity.
